Mixology
I learned many tricks of the trade in an exciting two-week program at Chicago’s most renowned bartending training school: A-List Startenders.
A few months of bartending at Prairie Isle Golf Course taught me how to manage a bar and fine-tune my customer relations skills. Oh, I forgot! I make my own drinks too. Check out one of my holiday cocktails below:
Easter Spritz
1 shot of Vodka
Half Passion Fruit Truly
Half Fever-Tree Sparkling Grapefruit Juice
Mix
Add Grenadine
Add Maraschino Cherry
Add whipped cream to rim
Add banana (bunny ears) as garnish
Add whatever Easter-related decoration of your choosing
Shots Anyone?
A pourer is essential for learning how to time your pours as a bartender. Beginners can use water and an empty liquor bottle to practice their pour timing and proper grip. Soon you’ll be able to pour shots for your friends smoothly.
